Today Adam is 4 weeks old. I can't believe it. Everyone tells you that it goes by quickly, but it is unbelievable. Over the past couple of weeks, Adam has become a lot more alert and sleeps less during the day. He's still a good baby, and rarely cries except when he is hungry (knock on wood!).
We did hit a little bump in the road. At three weeks, Adam was down about a pound from birth...much too much. But, we have the situation under control now, and I'm happy to report that he is quickly plumping up! In terms of milestones, he is starting to hold his head up really well, make little happy sounds (coo, aahh) and follows people and toys with his eyes. And, not only does he look like his Daddy, but he has acquired his love of television. He sits in his bouncy seat and stares at it! Last night, he went to book club with me and was quite the hit with the ladies! And, it was nice for me to get out and have some adult time, once Brad picked him up.
